Bookster

Winery
The wines of Bookster are sourced from the Sonoma Coast and Napa Valley, two of California’s most recognized and well respected growing regions. In creating the wines of Bookster, our mission is to bring to the market wines that clearly speak of the terrior while at the same time over deliver on both quality and price. To this end, we have partnered with some of California’s finest winemaker’s, including Dan Goldfield from the award winning estate of Dutton and Goldfield, to produce a selection that speaks to the best of what Sonoma and Napa wines are about.
Wines
Russian River Chardonnay 2006
A cornucopia of fruit flavors…glide across the palate, and the creamy, layered attack leads to a crisp, hazelnut-inflected finish. A hint of butterscotch on the back end offsets the fine precision and acid-fruit tension in this delicious wine … 90+ Sonoma Wine Journal Spring 2008
Quirinus Russian River Chardonnay
Sonoma Coast Pinot Noir 2007
In the nose the 2007 Bookster Pinot entices with fresh bing cherry and a bit of crushed cranberry, along with touches of vanilla, nutmeg and violets. In the mouth the fresh cherries again lead, but it is the silky tannins and balanced acidity which keep you coming back for another sip. Winemaker, Dan Goldfield
Quirinus Russian River Pinot Noir 2006
This wine is all about refinement and balance, wrapped around a core of solid structure and bright fruit. In the nose it comes on with bright bing cherry and raspberry fruit, with spice elements of cinnamon, cardamom and a touch of black tea … Lush tannins bring out the impression of candied cherries and cranberries, dipped in Asian spiced toffee … Winemaker, Dan Goldfield
Cabernet Sauvignon Napa Valley 2006
This is grapey, fresh and lively, with wild berry and blackberry fruit that is zesty, spicy and clean on the finish … Wine Spectator 11/08
