Noe

Winery

B.V.N. is located near the town of Alcanadre (Rioja). This Estate sits on the Ebro River which creates a perfect micro climate within the arid region of Rioja.

The wines are fed only with organic compost. The vines are cleared manually to remove vegetation around the grapes to obtain better ventilation and more hours of sunlight. Harvest is done by hand and only the best fruit is used for this limited production. The grapes start the “despalillada” process and are introduced in stainless steel tanks for the first fermentation. Natural clarification is made at the second fermentation. The Coupage spends 4 months in oak barrels.

BVN-Tempranillo

Tempranillo 2007

100% Tempranillo from the lower Rioja area, fermented in stainless-steel tanks for about 20 days before spending eight months in used oak barrels. Dusty plum and black cherry mingle with leather and black tobacco in this hearty, rustic and full-bodied Rioja, finishing with soft tannins and a hint of sweet nutmeg.
