Winery
The Farm Masseria del Feudo was established from an entrepreneurial idea of two young people, Francesco and Carolina Cucurullo. After in-depth examinations and visits to wineries, they decide to set up a winery for the production of IGT quality wines, within rural buildings. The project is part of a wider plan of exploitation and verticalisation of four production lines: wine production, fruit-growing, olive oil-production, and zootechnics, which represent the activities of the family farm, reaching into a territory of 110 hectares, whose management, with the two young members of the family, is at the fourth generation. Masseria del Feudo’s Vineyards are located on a strip of land which has been cultivated since 1860. It is indeed in this area that early experimentation were made, both for traditional local varieties and international ones, such as Chardonnay.

Il Giglio Rosso Nero D’ Avola 2010
Giglio Rosso is a lovely wine. It has a strong personality and it’s addressed to young wine lovers and to those who like quality wines without spending too much. It is a pleasant wine and thanks to its versatility for food-pairing, it can be drunk on every occasions.

Il Giglio Bianco Inzolia-Grillo 2010
Giglio Bianco it’s a fresh wine, interpreter of the sunny nature of the local prestigious varieties: Ansonica (Inzolia) and Grillo. It’s a very pleasant white wine, easy to pair with Mediterranean recipes.
