Chalet Pouilly
Winery
Located on a hillside overlooking the village of Pouilly, with 8 hectares of vineyards this Domaine has been family owned and operated for the last hundred years. Today the Domaine is run by Doctor Bernard Léger-Plumet and his wife Agnes. They believe the beauty of their wines is derived directly from the vineyard. Their vines are old, and their soil rich and calcareous. Combine this with their delicate use of oak, and no added yeasts during fermentation, and the result is an extremely elegant and ageable Burgundy. These are wines that will please any connoisseur.

Pouilly Fuisse 2008
“This crisp wine has bright fruits, lively acidity and a vibrant mineral character. It could develop for another 1–2 years.” – Wine Spectator
This has a classical Pouilly-Fuisse minerality, as if grown in a bed of ancient seashells, yielding a wine that tastes of flowers and stones rather than fruit. A whirring acidity lengthens those flavors in the finish. For prawns finished in cream.

Pouilly Fuisse 2009
Rich, creamy wood-aged wine that shows pear, apple and toast flavors and even a hint of honey. Smooth and textured, it has fine final spice and acidity to add further interest.

Saint Veran 2011
Light yellow colour and an elegant fruity scent. Flavors of fresh buttered bread with floral fragrances as well as a sweet aroma of ripe fruits and a roasted hint are in the characteristic of this wine.
