Lucchetti Lacrima Morro d’Alba 2008- soon to be declared the Marches’s most exciting producer of this esoteric grape, Lacrima makes a great springtime red, with spicy wild strawberry, lively acidity and light tannins.

From Piedmont:

Pelissero Langhe Freisa 2005-one of the darling grapes of Piedmont, this freisa features dense black fruits and a hint of red peppercorn. A very traditional version of this lovely variety.
